October 2023 Chamber Luncheon

Please join us for our next monthly Chamber Luncheon with our featured guest speaker, William Hawkins, Silver Consolidated Schools Superintendent on Thursday, October 5, 2023, from 11:45 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.


 

Mr. Hawkins most recently served as the Assistant Superintendent for Instruction and Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources for Hobbs Schools. Mr. Hawkins has a focus on cultivating an inviting district environment where all students, parents, and staff feel welcome in our schools.

During the luncheon, Mr. Hawkins will discuss the plans to engage with the community and provide a clear picture of the school facilities and financial situation. There will be a focus on key aspects such as the needs of schools like Jose Barrios Elementary, Cliff Schools, and the Ben Altamirano Sports Complex. These topics are crucial to the development of the next 5-year Facilities Master Plan, set to begin this Spring.
