Native Plant Society of New Mexico Annual Conference
The annual conference of the Native Plant Society of New Mexico comes to Silver City for the first time in eight years. Hosted this year by the Gila Native Plant Society, the conference will feature presentations on Friday morning and Saturday afternoon and field trips and workshops on Friday afternoon and Saturday and Sunday morning. The deadline for signing up for the entire three-day conference with meals is Friday, August 31st - check out www.npsnm.org for registration and fee. However, those who cannot devote three days but don’t want to miss out entirely will be able to take in a morning or afternoon of presentations or any available field trip or workshop at a cost of $25 for a half-day (meals not included), students free with current ID.
