Does your family tree have parents younger than their children, ancestors who lived too long, or unexplainable gaps? Timelines can help keep things in research order, point out what is missing and even help break down the brick wall or two. This event will include discussion on biographical data, historical events and more ideas on how a timeline can bedazzle your family. Henrietta M. Christmas is the current president of the New Mexico Genealogical Society and an independent genealogist and historian. Henrietta has volunteered her time as a research assistant for projects at the New Mexico History Museum, the Palace of the Governors, and the Daughters and Sons of the American Revolution. She lectures on over 25 topics including colonial New Mexico history and Genealogy of Hispanic Families in New Mexico. This event is presented in collaboration with the Silver City Museum and made possible by the Friends of the Library!
