CAMMO- Songwriting Workshop for Active Military, Veterans, Retired and Their Spouses
Western New Mexico University Office of Cultural Affairs is hosting CAMMO.
This program is offered by WNMU Cultural Affairs, with support from New Mexico Arts and the WNMU Office of Veterans Affairs.

CAMMO's mission and focus have been since its inception to provide a safe and caring environment for military members, veterans, and their families to:
Create music-based therapeutic programming and outlets for service members, veterans, and family members.
Train and educate service members, veterans, and family members in music industry career opportunities, including artist development and management.
This is an all-day songwriting workshop followed by a public presentation at Light Hall.

8:45 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. Check-in
9:00 a.m. Orientation. announcements, discussion (song structure), and room assignments for pro writers and veteran participants.
9:30 a.m.- 12:30 p.m. Writing Session I
12:30 p.m.- 1:30 p.m. Lunch Provided
1:30 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. Writing Session II: Finish songs, rehearse, and complete work tapes
