April 11 meeting:
Because we’re now in “honeybee season,” the April 11 meeting of the Grant County Beekeepers will be devoted to hive health, identifying the queen, working the hive, and other essential aspects of beekeeping. A presentation will be offered, with projected images of honeybee hives and other ways to assist beekeepers in managing their hives using best practices of beekeeping. General discussion and Q&A will be included. All are welcome: beekeepers and “friends of bees.”
Also, the 10-day weather forecast looks promising, so we’re still planning the April 8 mentoring session.
A few people have told me they’re interested in attending. If you are interested but have not yet let me know, please contact me.
