Aldo Leopold Charter School will host the 2018 Annual Fundraising and Pledge Drive Saturday May 5. This year’s event is titled “Above and Beyond the Classroom” to help underscore the experiential education teaching philosophy of the school.
This is the fifth year the school has held a fundraising event and expects to raise over $10,000.
The event will be held at Western New Mexico University’s Miller Library. Dinner, music and presentations start at 6pm. Tickets are $25 and can be purchased at the school’s front office.
Call 575-538-2547 to reserve your tickets. The event runs from 6 to 8 pm.
All proceeds will help fund middle school and high school experiential education programming such as wilderness backpacking, all school field trips and community internships. The public is welcome to attend.
