Social hour starts at 6pm with dinner at 7pm The Silver City Woman’s Club is preparing for a busy Valentine’s Day weekend.  The monthly members meeting is scheduled for Friday, February 12th  at 10:30am. Initiation of 10 new members will take place.   Individuals who may be interested in becoming a member of the Club are encouraged to attend. The Implementation and Technical committees of the Arizona Water Settlements Act planning process

The format of the meeting will be three workshops to further evaluate proposals for use of the 14,000 acre-feet of water and/or funding of $66 million up to $128 million, as allocated by the AWSA to the four- county region of Southwest New Mexico. The first workshop on Water Conservation will begin at 8:30 a.m. The second from 10:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. will cover those projects that deal with Water Infrastructure. A one-hour lunch break will be taken, and the third workshop will begin at 1:45 on Watershed Restoration. "Peak Wellness & Healing for Animals: A Basic Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) Workshop"
