The objectives of the T&C Garden Club are as follows:
  • Increase appreciation and knowledge of gardening practices in Silver City and Grant County through programs‚ and exchange experiences and knowledge;
  • Cooperate with civic projects to beautify Silver City and the county;
  • Contribute monetary and other value to worthy projects in our community;
The above objectives are achieved through monthly club meetings ‚ exchange of information‚ support of various government and civic entities‚ distribution of annual monetary funds to local charities‚ provisions for a botany scholarship at WNMU‚ maintenance and upkeep of the Memory Lane Cemetery Rose Garden‚ and operation of a thrift shop on Bullard Street in the Historic downtown area.
 
Our members are proud of our civic achievements and continue to take an active role in assisting the community as outlined above. We anticipate that our Chamber membership will enhance these
efforts.
 
Thrift Store located next to the Garden Club at 606 N Bullard is open every Wednesday and Saturday from 9am to 12 Noon. No telephone is available.
