The Town of Silver City is accepting application for the position of Recreation Activity Provider (Regular Part-time). Requirements include: NM Class D Driver’s License with favorable driving record, or ability to obtain within 30 days; favorable police background check; First Aid and CPR certified or able to become certified within six months of hire; high school diploma or equivalent; 21 years of age or older; and post secondary education preferred with emphasis in child development in ages 7-12; one year of combined experience with youths in a residential, daycare, or education facility; knowledge of safety and emergency training. Responsibilities include: quality care and supervision of school-aged children 7-12 years old, to include after school and seasonal programs; supervision of all youth and adult recreational activities and other scheduled events; perform janitorial duties.
