Part Time Bookkeeper for Silver City Museum

Part-time Bookkeeper wanted.
 
POSITION SUMMARY:   The Bookkeeper is responsible for accurately maintaining Silver City Museum Society financial accounting in accordance with GAAP, legal requirements for non-profit corporations and the policies and procedures of the Silver City Museum and Silver City Museum Society.
 
STATUS:  Part-time, usually weekdays, may require some weekend and evening work, approximately 10 hours per week. Pay scale commensurate with experience.
 
EXPERIENCE-MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:  Three years of experience with bookkeeping. Basic knowledge of accounting data entry. Basic computer skills including use of Excel and Word. Experience with non-profit or fund accounting practices. Familiarity with APLOS software a plus.
