The Financial Services Representative/Loan Administrator role is responsible for providing administrative support to loan officers while also acting as a backup to opening new accounts. Responsible for performing general record keeping and clerical functions vital to ensure loan processing is completed in an accurate, timely manner.
Job Responsibilities:
Assists loan officers by preparing various documents such as sending notices, preparing past due correspondence, printing reports, ordering credit bureau reports, appraisals and surveys.
Assist loan officers with worksheets on secondary market loans and real estate loans. Disburses secondary market loans.
Receives loan payments and loan information from customers, assists customers with questions, providing information about bank services, confirming loan balances, provides loan pay-offs, answers credit inquiries on loan customers, and makes loan advances upon request.
Maintains customer’s credit file in an orderly and accurate manner while in their possession.
Builds loan files after closing of deal.
Forwards new loans and updated documentation to Post Closing to be archived.
Prepare and mail signed denials to borrower and forwards original to Central Loan Processing.
Prepares month and quarter end reports and submits them in a timely manner
Prints all closing documents and prepare tickets for loan officer.
Actively cross-sells bank related products in a professional manner and processes customers transactions as needed.
Help ensure policies under areas of responsibility are up to date.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications:
Associates degree or greater in related field preferred
2+ years related experience preferred.
Familiarity with Navigator Banking system or other banking systems a plus.
Attention to detail necessary in role.
