An ASU Honors graduate of Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication, 22-year-old Katelyn Niemiec is a passionate advocate for the prevention of bullying, having devoted more than 5,000 hours to her personal platform. Her program, Bullying S.T.O.P.S. Here, has been shared in numerous schools and workshops across the valley over the past six years. Additionally, Katelyn serves as Vice-President for Winged Hope Family Advocacy Foundation, where she has raised $7,000 to benefit survivors of child abuse and domestic violence. A sports fanatic, she reported on Super Bowl XLIX and has hosted a show on Fox Sports Arizona.
Katelyn has presented to over 10,000 students, administrators, caregivers, educators the past seven years. In her role as the VP board member of the family advocacy center, Winged Hope, she has worked with 8 different school districts, various police departments in the greater phoenix area and 10 national nonprofit groups educating about Bullying, Domestic Violence, Child Abuse Prevention and Human Trafficking.
