It is that time of the year for the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots!
"Bringing the joy of Christmas and sending a message of hope to America's Children in need for over 76-years!"

Stop by the Silver City Grant County Chamber of Commerce to donate new, unwrapped toys in the white collection box at the entrance! 

How you can help: 

• Donate a Toy to you local Toys for Tots Campaign
• Donate Your Time as a volunteer to help local Toys for Tots Campaigns
• Donate Service support to local Toys for Tots Campaigns
  • Allow Toy Collection Boxes at your business
  • Warehouse space 
  • Transportation support
  • Media exposure

"Campaigns begin on 1 October and last through Christmas. Caring Americans drop off new, unwrapped toys in toy collection boxes located at local businesses throughout the community. Local toys for Tots Marines and volunteers pick up, sort, and store these toys in central location. As Christmas nears, Marines and volunteers distribute toys themselves and enlist the aid of local social welfare agencies and churches to distribute toys to economically disadvantaged children throughout the Christmas season." 

"Local business leaders play a key role by allowing Marines and volunteers to locate toy collection boxes in their stores; by providing vehicles to collect toys from collection sites; by sponsoring toy collection events; and by helping Marines receive maximum media exposure for Toys for Tots."
