What Does No Kill Mean? Silver City Food Co-op’s Community Forum
What does No Kill mean, can we achieve it, and how close are we?
High Desert Humane Society board member Heidi Ogas will discuss what No Kill means and the goals of the Humane Society. One of the goals is to build an adoption center to help more animals find forever homes. Learn about this goal and others at the forum.
Heidi Ogas had been volunteering at the Humane Society for eleven years. She loves helping animals in Grant county and does have a job that pays the bills, but volunteering at the Humane Society is the job that fills her heart. Ms. Ogas is a native of New Mexico and has been living in Silver City since 1985.
