Guest Speakers: Police Chief Ed Reynolds and Marketing Consultant Sunny McFarren
We have invited Chief Ed Reynolds to speak to the Chamber of Commerce regarding new traffic signs, new laws pertaining to cell phone use while driving and to give us an update on how law enforcement is doing in Silver City. There will be a question and answer period... but remember, he has handcuffs and knows how to use them.
Our second speaker will be Sunny McFarren. Sunny is a local marketing professional who will discuss "Low Cost Marketing Techniques" for businesses and organizations. Sunny is a member of the Silver City Grant county Chamber of Commerce. You can reach Sunny McFarren - marketing and Public Relations Consultant at (575) 519-9278.
We will have a representative from the Grant County Rolling Stones Gem & Mineral Society give us an update on their upcoming Gem & Mineral Show in Silver City during the Labor Day weekend.
The meeting will be held at the Student Cafeteria - Sunset Room on the 2nd Floor of the Student Memorial Building at Western New Mexico University in Silver City. The lunch will begin at 11:45 a.m. and adjourn by 1 p.m. The cost for lunch is $15.00 per person and can be paid in advance or at the door with cash, check or credit card.
