Calling himself, “New Mexico’s Most Enchanting Cowboy” he strives to take his listeners to places and feelings they may not get to any other way. “I want to put them as close to being in the saddle as words and music allow—and at the same time leave ‘em laughing.” he says. In 2006, Mike was nominated for “Cowboy Poet of the Year” with the Western Music Association and performed at their festival in Albuquerque.
