Where is it?

The Celebration of Spring is a crafts- and activity-filled festival in Historic Downtown Silver City, clustered around the shady confines of Big Ditch Park.

The 9th Annual Celebration of Spring Festival in Historic Downtown Silver City is scheduled for May 2006. Check back for more information!

The festival is sponsored by Silver City MainStreet Project and features a Spring Fair in shady Big Ditch Park. The fair includes arts and crafts, commercial and nonprofit booths.

The festival typically also includes the opening day of the Farmer's Market at Bullard and 6th Street from 8:30 am to noon.

Past events have include a Spring Cleaning Rummage Sale by Literacy Link/Leamos, Meet the Artists at Silver Spirit Gallery, a Spring Fashion Show and the making of Mother's Day cards, marionettes, and a puppet show at Toy Town.
